The congress advocates for the promotion of clinical nutrition in a global context with emphasis to investigators from the less developed countries. Thia will be reflected in the programme by updating our understanding of the major sub-specialties of clinical nutrition . Modern concepts of relevance to clinical nutrition as well as “Academic” topics will be integrated into the programme covering aspects of research and teaching at under-and postgraduate levels.
